DAVID THORPE

I am a senior leader with over 20 years’ experience simplifying complex business issues for the government and public sector. This experience was gained at ‘Big 4’ professional services firms and FTSE 250 organisations.

My skillset was honed through 10 years’ of management consultancy experience with PwC and Deloitte. I then went on to work with PA Consulting and Capita, where I led the health consulting business and wider health GtM.

I worked my way up the corporate ladder from graduate through to Director, Partner and held Board-level roles. During this time, I frequently observed and experienced coaches and mentors that are ‘coaching’ with the end-path already in mind. A fixed outcome that had already been set, with their own or organisational bias baked in. Whilst the intentions may have been good, my personal needs, values and objectives were not met.
